It may only be less than a mile away from Frisco’s most popular destinations, but this luxurious dream home at 2782 Montreaux Drive in the Villages of Stonebriar Park can be your retreat from the normal hustle and hurry of everyday life. There is much to enjoy here; every space is pristine and has been carefully thought-through. Whether you’re working, entertaining, or relaxing, this spacious garden home is the perfect place to begin each day.
When you first pull into the drive, you’re met with an exterior of brick and stone. It’s a strong yet warm blend that’s accented by neat landscaping. The front access also offers a 3-car garage. Upon entering the home, the foyer features high ceilings and a stunning staircase. One can choose to enter the library to the right, find a guest bed and full bath to the left, or head down a short hallway to the open-concept living space. The library is a grand space with floor-to-ceiling built-in shelving and a side office with a built-in desk. It’s easy to envision being productive up here.
When you’re able to leave the work behind you, you can venture down to the main living area. On your way, you’ll pass the beautifully appointed dining room. Situated off the kitchen and accessible through the butler's pantry or main entrance, this room currently has seating for 10 and space for a buffet. It’s not hard to imagine all of the holiday gatherings that can happen here! In fact, this home is an entertainer’s dream!
After the dining room, there is a full wine bar that has its own sink and storage. Pass through one more archway and enter the kitchen. It’s an open floor plan that flows from the kitchen, through a breakfast area, and into the living room. Although very open with 22-foot ceilings, this space is incredibly inviting (personally, I think it’s because you can see the gorgeous gas-log fireplace from every angle). The warm, rich tones that fill the room come from the exquisite finish on the cabinetry and the gold veins that run through the natural stone countertops. This chef’s kitchen comes fully equipped with Thermador Professional appliances, including a 6-burner gas cooktop, a built-in refrigerator, a wine fridge, dual convection ovens, and pot filler. The kitchen area is also home to a butler’s pantry.
At this time, you really get to decide if you’d like to lounge in the formal indoor living space or if the covered and enclosed outdoor living area is calling you. The indoor living room is anchored by the aforementioned fireplace and offers room to relax while the covered patio space offers a wood-burning fireplace of its own, various seating areas, and great views of the courtyard. The main feature here is an Italian-style fountain, a water feature that brings such a pleasing and tranquil sound.
The only room we haven’t visited on the first floor yet is the primary bedroom, truly an owner’s retreat, complete with an ensuite bath, walk-in closet, and access to the utility room. That over-simplification really does not do this space justice though. The primary bath has built-in cabinets, a double shower, dual sinks in separate vanities, and a jetted tub. The walk-in closet space is stunning and having the utility room just off the closet area makes handling tasks like laundry easier than ever!
If we ascend that staircase in the foyer, we’ll find the two main spaces of the second floor. The third bedroom is here and it has an ensuite bath, another great choice when people are visiting or a wonderful place for kids and grandkids to enjoy. The biggest space on this level is a bonus/flex room. This spacious area could be a home theater, game room, or play area. Just when you thought all the entertaining could be done downstairs, I think this extra space up here brings a whole new set of opportunities to the table!
Living life in Frisco is a unique experience. You wouldn’t think that one of America’s fastest-growing cities could feel so welcoming and still bring a small-town heart. But that’s exactly what the city is trying to accomplish. Luxury living meets a phenomenal, A+-rated school district. Upscale retail and shopping pair nicely with professional sports and entertainment. More than 30 years ago, Frisco aimed to be a great place to live, work, and play - they’re working hard to fulfill that plan every day.
Villages of Stonebriar Park is relatively adjacent to one of the area’s premier country clubs. Stonebriar Country Club was Frisco’s first club of this kind and has set the bar for many other clubs in the area. With two 18-hole championship golf courses, a spectacular clubhouse that's as well-equipped as it is warm and welcoming, and family-friendly programming all year round, it's easy to see why Avid Golfer consistently ranks Stonebriar Country Club among Dallas-Fort Worth's most elite private clubs. Now that Frisco is also home to the PGA of America, golf is set to grow even more quickly and is sure to become a local favorite.
When we say that living here has you in close proximity to just about everything, we aren’t exaggerating. Just down Warren Boulevard, you can visit The Star. Yes, it’s home to the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and practice facility but it has also brought some incredible dining, shopping, and entertainment. Cowboys Club is a private social club and restaurant, where members can socialize, collaborate, relax and entertain in an atmosphere that is passionate about Dallas Cowboys football. Cowboys Fit has caught the attention of our most active residents, offering 60,000 square feet of all things fitness (including group classes, an indoor/outdoor cycling room, a health and nutrition bar, and a heated rooftop pool). If dining is more your style, we recommend checking out coffee at Ascension, happy hour at Concrete Cowboy, and the tea room at Heirloom Haul. For dinner, you cannot go wrong with Lombardi’s or one of our newest obsessions, The Glen – along with its exclusive scotch bar, The Monarch Stag. Date night in Frisco hasn’t been the same since The Star opened a few years ago and it seems to only get better from here.
If we expand our circle just a little bit, we find that North Dallas offers innumerable options for almost any lifestyle you’d like to lead.

In The Colony, Grandscape is reimagining the shopping/dining experience, bringing us the only Texas stores for Scheel’s and Nebraska Furniture Mart. When you head west, you also find access to Lake Lewisville if water sports and lake life is more your speed.

In Plano, Legacy West has brought some of the best retail and restaurants together in an awesome, award-winning development. For distinctive dining, Toulouse, Earl’s Kitchen, and Kai are some of the best around, but the curated options at Legacy Food Hall is definitely the spot when you can’t decide. Plano also is home to Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, a 200-acre park featuring vast areas of natural beauty for walking, jogging, hiking, orienteering, and other outdoor activity.

Lastly, Downtown McKinney is just a 20-minute drive from Frisco along 121, but the historic square has been fully revitalized and hosts many great businesses every day and several of the best festivals throughout the year. They have everything from antiques to boutiques, plus art, museums, bakeries, restaurants, and wineries. It’s as close to a one-stop-shop as you can get, if you’d like to enjoy a special day (or a special night).
