Come home to this exquisite custom build on more than an acre in prestigious Willow Bend Country. Every room invites you to experience luxury for yourself with meticulous modern finishes. From the very start, 5600 Plantation Circle in Plano, Texas, welcomes its guests to a quiet cul-de-sac and a neighborhood filled with mature trees. This location is convenient to so many things, but once on the grounds, you’d never know the city was so close.

When you arrive through the front gates, you can follow the driveway to the left and utilize the four-car epoxy-floored garage or use the driveway to the right as a circle drive and pull under the porte-cochère to be near the custom iron and glass arched front doors.

Upon entering, the foyer is one of the most breathtaking entries into a home. High ceilings, gorgeous lighting, and an open-concept staircase allow you to move freely into the heart of the home. A den/seating area to your right and the formal living room ahead, it’s impossible not to feel welcome and drawn to this space. There’s lots of room to move about and there are beautiful designer touches throughout the home.

In the living room, the focus is on the fireplace that is surrounded by lighted built-ins. Made to display interesting finds, this is just the first of many opportunities to showcase sculptures, art, and any other pieces you love. The wall of windows brings all the natural light you need and also allow you to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors anytime.

Between the living room and kitchen, the formal dining room easily seats 10-15 and opens to a stunning kitchen. A large island almost doubles the counter space here and all of the counters have hand-built, soft close custom cabinets and drawers. Full of professional appliances from Viking and Miele, just a few of our favorite features in the kitchen include the coffee bar, warming drawer, second sink, and walk-in pantry. One of our favorite features is the Miele coffee station! The use of space is so smartly defined and is as pleasant as it is practical.

Adjacent to the kitchen, a large counter provides space to eat and separates the kitchen from a family room, breakfast nook, and wet bar. This side of the house also has access to the garage, the backyard, a second staircase, and the laundry/utility room. As you might expect, this home has not skimped on surprising features; they’ve worked in some awesome amenities in the smaller, often overlooked, spaces. This utility room even includes a pet bathing/shower area, an extra refrigerator, and a large space for the washer and dryer.

All five bedrooms in this house have ensuite baths. The primary bedroom has a separate seating area and fireplace, plus the primary bath offers you a vanity area, dual sinks, jetted tub, luxurious shower, linen closet, and an extraordinary custom designed walk-in closet. Also downstairs, you find an office with a great view of the front yard, two more bedrooms with full baths, and one half bath neatly arranged for guests.

We can use the stairs in the front foyer or the stairs behind the kitchen to access level two. The highlight of the second floor is the bonus room that overlooks the formal living below. With a dry bar, half bath, and media center, it’s the perfect place to read, work, relax, or play games. Down the hallway, the final two bedrooms each have a full bath and the media room invites you to experience sports, movies and even gaming like no other.

Just to note a few more updated items. This home was remodeled in 2018. While many of the masterful touches we’ve already seen were done at that time, there are several upgrades worth mentioning. The metal roof was added at that time and covers the patios, backyard buildings and the entire home too. Within the house, gorgeous 3/4” wood flooring was placed in the dry areas while all the wet areas were updated with rich marble and tile. They even updated all of the air ducts and the plumbing during that remodel.

Let’s head into the backyard and enter this unique, relaxing outdoor oasis. There are so many beautiful pieces here that it’s hard to know where to start. The pool was replastered and had new tile added when the interior was remodeled just five years ago. Two spas and the water features add to the calming effect this space has. On the cabana side of the backyard, there is an outdoor kitchen with built-in grill, a covered seating area with a television and a fireplace, plus a half bath. There are two more seating areas, one covered by the house and one just by the pool. To the left, almost to the back of the property, there is a fire pit area surrounded by gardens and a pergola. To the right of the house, just past the driveway, the side yard is perfect for a tennis/basketball court addition.

Your outdoor oasis might provide the perfect environment to relax, but being a bit more active and connecting with a few neighbors might bring some energy that can be missing from our daily life. Gleneagles Country Club is just a quick golf cart ride away. Offering two pristine 18-hole championship courses that present distinct challenges, Gleneagles brings delight to players at every skill level. A recent multi-million dollar renovation made the courses more accessible year-round! Also, their driving range gives golfers a chance to practice off the course. Back at the club, sip and savor in the restaurants, take a dip in the pool, and work out in the fitness center.

It’s also worth noting that within 5 miles of here, there are several other clubs available, each adding their own enhancements to the membership lifestyle. From Stonebriar Country Club and Golf Clubs at The Tribute to the north and Bent Tree Country Club and The Clubs of Prestonwood to the south, you’re sure to find the perfect place to practice and so much more.

The City of Plano has also done an incredible job of helping residents find more fresh air. Just 3 miles away is Arbor Hills, a 200-acre park featuring vast areas of natural beauty perfect for walking, jogging, and hiking. The observation tower gives a spectacular view of the city.

I know we often say that West Plano is one of the most convenient locations for North Dallas living, but when it comes to retail and restaurants, the area does not disappoint. Just across the tollway, less than a mile from home, are some of the best shops and dining Plano has to offer in the ever-evolving Shops at Willow Bend. Personal favorites are Neiman Marcus, Crate & Barrel, and Restoration Hardware but there are several unique boutiques within the mall itself. On the east side of the building, a new development called The District at The Shops at Willow Bend has brought some incredible new flavors to our area. Some long-time local favorites (like Whistlebritches and Knife) have found a home with some new and tasty concepts (like Terra and Mexican Bar Co.).

When you’re ready to venture a bit farther, you can visit other local hot spots in The Star and Legacy West. There’s always something new to find in these areas and the caliber of offerings just seems to be getting better. Fine dining at neighborhood staples such as Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, Kai, Dee Lincoln Prime, and Lombardi pair nicely with unique concepts such as Toulouse, Masero, Tupelo Honey, and Heirloom Haul. If live music and a more eclectic menu are more your style, be sure to check out Legacy Food Hall for one of the area’s most popular experiences.

But maybe it’s also about settling down. Just imagine building your future here. No matter where you are in life, this home has something it can give you. For families with kids, Plano ISD has an A+ rating and is consistently ranked in the Top 20 best school districts in Texas. On average, Plano ISD has a 14:1 class size (student-to-teacher ratio), and 90% of the district’s teachers have more than 3 years of experience. This unique combination has earned Plano an exemplary designation on more than one occasion. For this home, kids would start at Centennial Elementary and then feed into Renner MS, Shepton HS, and Plano West Senior High. The area also lends itself to many other stages of life because Willow Bend is conveniently located by several of our top private schools, plus preschools and colleges as well.

If you’re in career mode, North Dallas couldn’t be a better place to be. “Since 2010, the DFW area has become a magnet for company headquarters, with 140 headquarters relocations to the region from across the U.S. and abroad, including more than 45 companies moving from California. A few notable recent moves to the North Texas market include Toyota’s North American HQ, Charles Schwab, and PGA of America.” (D Magazine) As industry and technology grow, the job market and local opportunities will abound.
