What inspired you to get into real estate?
I am a true people person. After 37 wonderful years with Delta Airlines, I realized I wasn't quite ready to retire-I still had so much energy and passion for connecting with others. Real Estate was a natural next step. I genuinely enjoy getting to know my clients, understanding what they need, and helping them through such an exciting chapter. Whether it's finding that "perfect" home or getting to make the call with a great offer on their property, those moments are incredibly rewarding to me.
What’s your favorite part about helping clients buy or sell a home in the Dallas area?
It amazes me how each neighborhood has its own personality- and helping clients find the one that feels like home. It gives me great satisfaction in helping clients, whether they are seasoned or first-time homebuyers.
If someone is new to Dallas, what’s one neighborhood, restaurant, or hidden gem you’d recommend they check out?
If you're new to Dallas, I always recommend checking out Willow Bend in West Plano. I've been a proud resident of West Plano for 30 years, and it truly feels like home-beautiful neighborhoods, top rated schools, and a strong sense of community. While you're here, don't miss one of my favorite local spots: Yao Fuzi, a family-owned restaurant that serves incredible Chinese cuisine. It's a hidden gem that's become a go-to for my family and friends.
What’s one piece of advice you always share with your clients?
One piece of advice I always share with my clients is this: If you fall in love with a home and it doesn't work out, trust that something better is on the horizon. I've never been proven wrong yet-the right home always finds its way. For sellers, I remind them that the perfect buyer will come along too. Timing and preparation matter, and when a home is priced right and presented well, the results always follow.
When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your free time?
When I'm not working, my favorite time is spent with family and friends. My four grandkids bring me so much joy-they never fail to put a smile on my face! I also make it a priority to stay active and try to workout every day. I definitely have the travel bug. I especially love exploring new places abroad and experiencing different cultures.
